Obituary

Alice “Alicia” Gonzales, age 74, passed away at her home in Waxahachie, Texas on Thursday, April 23, 2020. She was born on March 9, 1946 in Taylor, Texas to the late Jesus Martinez Vasquez and Maria Rios Vasquez.

Alice was a long-time member of the Northside Church of Christ in Waxahachie, TX. She always shared her love for God and how he has worked in her life. She loved her family and friends more than anything and always made everyone feel as if they were family. She enjoyed attending church, helping others, cooking and spending quality time with her great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Josefina Lopez, Angie Guadalcazar, Maria Garcia, Esther Macias, Joyce Ruiz, Daniel Vasquez, Albert Vasquez, Francis Guardiola, Joe Vasquez, Jess Vasquez Jr.; son-in-law, Brad Pritchett.

Survivors include her loving husband, Fred Gonzales; children, Freddie Gonzales, Robert Gonzales and wife Sondra, Debra Pritchett, Jeff Gonzales all of Waxahachie; siblings, Paul Vasquez, Sonora Martinez, Rose Cutlip, Leo Vasquez, Connie Gonzales, Rueben Vasquez, Annie Regalado, Rita Barget; 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2020 from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 at 12:00 P.M., at the Waxahachie City Cemetery with Mr. Walter Buchanan officiating.
