Obituary for Betty Rider
Betty Sue Rider, age 67, of Waxahachie, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on the 12th day of November 2020. She was born July 9, 1953 in Brownwood, TX to James Edwin and Esther (Gill) Ratliff.
Betty held multiple positions at various companies in Waxahachie where she landed her last job as a retail manager for Pearman Oil and Gas. Betty was loved and adored by many as she always had a smile on her face and comforting words in her heart to always bring light to a dark room.
Survivors include son Joshua Rider, wife Analisa, and two grand puppies Lucy and Sadie of Waxahachie, sister Letha Spinks and husband Jimmy of Alabama, niece Audra Ratliff of Florida, nephew Larry Ratliff of North Carolina and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edwin and Esther Ratliff; four sisters, Molly, Shirley, Sandra, Martha, and two brothers, Jesse and Jerry Paul.
Graveside service will take place 10am Monday morning November the 16th at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
