Obituary for Betty Tapp
Betty Louise Tapp was born July 3, 1932 to Edna and Oaklee Creed in Waxahachie, Texas. She was a Pacesetter at First Baptist Church of Waxahachie, a member of the Senior Citizen Center, a member of the Baylor Auxiliary of Waxahachie, and a member of Waxahachie Rebekah Lodge #381.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 49 years W.B. Tapp III, and her sister Nadine Kelley.
She is survived by her children Bill Tapp and wife Terry, Gary Tapp, and Chuck Tapp; brother Richard Creed; grand children Jason and wife Jackie Tapp, Adam and wife Rita Tapp, Caroline and husband Will Slattery, and Chris Tapp; great grandchildren Maddison Tapp, Raider Tapp, Landon Tapp, Kaylee Tapp, Skylar Tapp, Lexi Tapp, Gwenn Slattery, Paige Slattery, and Emma Slattery.
Visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 2:00PM until 4:00PM, at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 12:00PM at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie, Texas. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Waxahachie.
