Billy Jack was in our first group of Pleasant Run kids in our class.Never forget all the great times we all had there.Skip,Harold,Dougie,Troy Lynn,Billy Jack,Lonnie,Dick,Nuggie,Clifford,Larry,Eddie,Stan, and more.Billy Jack was blessed with incredible speed, strength, size, and brains. The guy was a straight A student. In addition to that he was extremely loyal to his family and friends. His circumstances as a child werent always the best for him and he shared throughout the years that he regrets not finishing a few things like football and education.Going into our junior year Texas Football Magazine talked about the “Baby Bulls” from Lancaster,Skipper Deborde and Billy Jack Beaty.I had the privilege of watching them two box over at my parents as several of my friends often did.Sounded like two mules kicking each other and all the while both of em giggling like little girls. Was always happy for our friends and myself to see Billy Jack show up at our class reunions. It was good medicine for him and he loved his friends. How do we describe a life of friendship in a few words. Its never enough.Id like to thank God for my friend Billy Jack and the rest of our friends and families we were gifted with.We won’t forget you dear friend.Gods speed great one.
