Obituary for Billy Dave Walker

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Walker. Bill passed on Tuesday March 2, 2021. Bill grew up in Kentucky and moved to Texas after joining the Army and was stationed at Fort Hood. Bill worked as a lineman for the Army, and after being discharged he continued his lineman experience installing Cable TV networks across the eastern United States. His next endeavor was warehouse work for Bristol Myers that lasted 20 years. After that he drove an 18-Wheeler for Grocers Supply delivering groceries to stores for another 20 years. He retired last year in 2020.

Bill leaves behind his wife Kathy Watson Walker of 30 years and two stepsons, Keith and Kevin Cannon and daughter-in-law Andrea. Bill is known as Papa Bill to grandchildren Kevin Jr, Blaine, Jacob, Hunter, Justin and Kaili, as well as great granddaughter Finley.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Henry Walker and Leodia Agnes Coker Walker and brother, Freeman Walker.

Visitation will be at Boze Mitchell McKibbin March 17 at 1 PM in Waxahachie. We will travel to the DFW National Cemetery located in Dallas, TX. at 3PM for our final goodbyes.
