Obituary for Bobbie Sue Corry (Lowry)
Our precious mother, Bobbie Sue Corry, at the age of 84, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away March 2, 2023. At her time of death she was surrounded by many that loved her. Bobbie was born November 18,1938 in Dallas, Texas to Jimmie Lue and Robert James Lowry. She devoted most of her life to her husband, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Debra Ann Corry Brouwer and husband Kevin, Christy Berger, Tammy Jenkins and James Corry and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Clinton, Colton, Chyanne, Keri-Elizabeth, Hayley and Chase and 5 great grandchildren and one brother Ronald James Lowry and his wife Connie.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Clinton Charles Corry, her parents, Jimmie and Robert J. Lowry, her sister Jimmie Lucile Henry and stepson Steve Corry.
Bobbie enjoyed hosting friends and family in her home, surrounded by laughter. A talented decorator, Christmas was her favorite time of year and her home was always well appointed for the holiday. She took great joy in cultivating a beautiful yard that heralded accolades from all who visited. She was a friend to animals with a deep affection for her cats. Bobbie treasured her time watching Westerns with her beloved husband, Clint. Memories of her singing and dancing while she worked around her home with be treasured by those closest to her. Bobbie was a devoted and loving wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all.
