Obituary for Boh Sil White
Boh Sil White was born November 30, 1939 in Seoul, Korea. She departed December 19, 2022. Boh always put her family first. She was loving and sincere, always willing to help. Boh married Jamie White and the couple shared three children - Betty, Sharon, and Jason – four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and 53 years of love and devotion.
Boh, who also went by Son, grew up in Seoul. It is there that she learned the traditional Korean dishes she so enjoyed cooking for her family. She showed her love through food, always insisting that she serve her family their meal first. Boh was the last to eat. Cooking was such a passion that she cultivated her own Korean peppers, onions, and herbs in her garden. Though she cherished her trip to Korea with her sister, she was happiest spending time at home with her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jamie White.
Boh is survived by her children Betty and husband Sammie, Sharon and husband Carl, and Jason; grandchildren Amanda, Joshua and wife Shelly, Travis and Jaylen; great grandchildren Trinity, Hunter, Luke, John, and Sophia; sister Boh K Son; brother Yoon Son and wife Chang Son; nieces Haley and husband David, and Soo; and great niece Taylor.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie, Texas.
Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 10:00am also at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel.
