Obituary for Brenda Dobbie
Brenda Dobbie, age 79, of Granbury, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. She was born January 11, 1943 in Waxahachie, Texas to Richard H. & Elsie Crabtree Curry.
Our dear, sweet Mom left her earthly home to be with Jesus and our loved ones who went before her. Our family celebrates the life she lived, a woman of faith who showed courage amidst deep suffering and a heart that truly sought to love and to serve others as a testament of her love for God, family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ron Dobbie, son Lance Dobbie; sisters Violet Johnson, Lillian Murdoch, Doris Nuzum, Merle Walker and Ann Ella Corley; and brother Richard H. Curry Jr.
Brenda is survived by three children, Brian Dobbie of Allen, Cory Dobbie and wife Tonya of Granbury, Chris Dobbie and wife Kelley of Midlothian; four Grandchildren, Alexander Dobbie of Granbury, Nathaniel Dobbie of Myrtle Beach, SC, Victoria (Dobbie) Jackson and husband Ryan of Decatur, Taylor Dobbie and wife Paige of Midlothian, Tobie Dobbie of Midlothian and Taryn Dobbie of Midlothian, and two great grandchildren, Brynlee and Brantley of Midlothian.
