Obituary for Carolyn Sue Brannon (Winbegler)
Carolyn Sue Brannon was born August 30, 1947 to Gladys and Rolland Winbegler in Marion, Indiana. She departed March 12, 2023 in Waxahachie, Texas. Carolyn graduated from Waxahachie High School and went on to work for the Dallas Morning News for more than 20 years. A loving mother to her three boys, Curtis “Scott”, Ronnie, and Randy, she was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
An expert in penmanship, her writing skills were artistically beautiful. Carolyn loved crafting and decorating. She was an excellent cook and especially looked forward to cooking for the holidays. Christmas was her favorite time of year; her family will always remember the ample homemade feast that graced their table and presents that filled underneath the tree for her three boys. Carolyn fiercely loved her family, and treasured her role of grandmother to Brek, Arah, and Percy.
Carolyn is survived by her oldest son Curtis “Scott”, middle son Ronnie, youngest son Randy, grandson Brek, granddaughter Arah, great grandson Percy, and four cousins Sue, Margaret, Pam, and Melody.
