Charles Davis, age 76, of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Focus Care in Waxahachie. He was born January 15, 1944 in Dallas County, Texas to Mildred (Beckham) and Joe Davis, Sr. He retired from Southwest Airlines. Charles served in the U. S. Marines, he was a 32nd Degree Mason, a Shriner and a Master Electrician. He was a big CB’er and his handle was “Roho”. Charles was great at cooking especially BBQ, he loved to travel, fish, deer hunt and gardening with his wife, Doris.

Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Doris Davis; children, Laura Maxwell, Charles Don Davis, Jr. and Mildred Hart and Roxie Goldsmith and husband Stephen; grandchildren, Christopher Payne, Haley Davis, Amanda Hernandez, Eric Thompson, Charlotte Moore and Rachel Diaz; numerous great grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Davis and Clarence Davis; one sister, Linda Green and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Mary Livingston and Karen Dunn.
