Obituary for Charles Allen Lippe

Charles “Charlie” Allen Lippe, age 80, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022. He was born on October 27, 1941 in McGregor, Texas to parents Albert and Erna Lippe. Charlie was a very hardworking, and loving Christian man. He loved his family and was willing to do anything for them. He grew up in Crawford, Texas on the family farm. He was a country boy and loved hunting, fishing, gun-collecting, gardening, and all things outdoors. Charlie graduated from Crawford High School and attended Tarleton State University for one year. Charlie grew up in the Lutheran Church but stopped attending regularly several years ago. He had a life-long career as a telephone man, eventually retiring from AT&T.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Kim Lippe, Son Bryan Lippe and daughter-in-law Donna Lippe, daughter Jennifer Campa and son-in-law Todd, grandchildren Austin Campa, Amanda Campa, Hannah Rule, and Michael Speedy, sister Glenda Weide, sister Karen Willmann and brother-in-law Milton Willmann, brothers-in-law Eddie Mahone, Danny Mahone, sisters-in-law Sherry Dicks and Lynell Mahone, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Erna Lippe, his wife of 53 years Lynda Lippe, brothers-in-law Marvin Weide, Harvey Dicks, and Tommy Huff, and sisters-in-law Sandy Huff and Patsy Mahone.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 6-8 P.M. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:30 AM. at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Blooming Grove, Texas
