Curtis Lee Trees, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was born to parents Mary June and James Lee Trees on September 22, 1951 in Dallas, Texas. Curtis was an avid outdoorsman who loved farming, fishing and spending time at his deer lease. He was a family man and went out of his way to spend time with them. Earlier in life he graduated from Desoto High School in 1970 and married Pam on June 23, 1973. Curtis worked construction at ASI services for 50 years and then purchased the company which he owned for 15 years.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Pam Trees; children, Tim Trees and wife Jennifer, Amie Whiting and husband Jason; grandchildren Taylor, Rylen, Colton, Cody; brother Eddie Trees and wife Marva; sister Christy Huckabee and husband Huck; special uncle, Bill Trees and wife Martha; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary June Trees.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 4-6 PM in the State Room at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home.

The Service is scheduled for Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Trees Cemetery in Duncanville, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Curtis’s name.
