Obituary for Cynthia Lee Crocker (Becker)

Cynthia Lee Crocker, age 72, of Ovilla, Texas, passed away in Dallas, Texas on September 25, 2020.

Cynthia was born July 21, 1948 in Altus, OK to Frederick and Dorsie Parrent. Though a childhood illness left her with limited mobility, Cynthia lived a full life, never allowing physical setbacks to limit her experiences or dull her love of life. She was a lover of music, enjoyed stargazing, the beach and a good political conversation. The one thing she enjoyed above all was spending time with her grandchildren who she absolutely loved and adored. She was a selfless soul, kind, gentle, thoughtful, strong, understanding, forgiving, welcoming to all and wise. Cynthia was a fiercely devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an angel on earth and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Preston Crocker, her son John Ashley Becker, and her father Frederick Ervin Parrent.

She is survived by her mother, Dorsie Parrent; daughter Amanda Morris and husband Matthew Morris of San Antonio; three grandchildren: Dustin Becker, Maia and Madilyn Morris; great-grandchild Kya Becker-Ayers; sister Christie Parrent, brothers Frederick Parrent Jr. and Marc Parrent; nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020 at Boze-Mitchell-McKibben Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX.
