Obituary for Dawn Snyder

Dawn Marie Snyder was born March 7, 1966 to Jean and Teddy Kibler in Hanover, Pennsylvania. She entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on January 27, 2023. Dawn grew up in Pennsylvania though she moved to Texas 30 years ago. After obtaining her CDL, she made her living driving school buses. Dawn is remembered as a very strong woman and devoted mother to her three sons Randy, Brian, and Josh.

Dawn loved the Caribbean and traveled there as often as she could. She was an avid reader; her favorite author was Nicolas Sparks. She enjoyed watching Dirty Dancing and Titanic though her favorite TV shows are Yellowstone and Handmaid’s Tail. Dawn especially enjoyed the music of Selena, and the bands Staind and Shine Down.

A deeply devout woman, Dawn began each day listening to her preacher Marcus Rogers with her cup of coffee. Before bed, each night, she devoted time to reading the bible which she had read cover to cover.

She was deeply loved, and created lifelong bonds with her friends. Dawn’s best friend of thirty years was Christi Smith. Fast friends, since beauty school, they raised their children together, worked together at times, and lived together for many years. Dawn and Christi where inseparable to the end. Dawn’s greatest bond where those with her family. She especially loved her grandchildren Brian, Justin and Alaina.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jean and Theodore Kibler; and sister Wanda Kibler.

Dawn is survived by her three sons Randy Snyder, Brian Snyder, and Josh Snyder; grandchildren Brian Snyder Jr, Justin Snyder and Alaina Snyder; and her four sisters Jennifer Manzo, Teddie Kibler, Kristen Kibler and Denise Jones.
