Obituary for Donald Frank Boutte, Sr.

Donald Frank Boutte Sr, age 68, passed after a 3-year battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. Frank worked as a plumber in the maintenance department of Red Oak I.S.D. He worked there for ten years. He was married for 38 years to Deborah Boutte. He loved to fish and enjoyed his morning coffee at McDonalds. He loved to cook and watch old western movies on television. He was particularly proud of his potato salad and crawfish etouffee. He also made a great gumbo. Frank loved his grandchildren very much and they will miss their Paw Paw. Frank was one of the hardest working men and began working at sixteen to help care for his family. While he had a stubborn and ornery streak, he was the most loving and caring with family and friends. There was no end to the people he would help. Frank was also a bit of a prankster but always did so with love and laughter.

Left to cherish his memories are his son Donald Frank Boutte Jr (Kari), Liza Cartwright (Marcus), grandchildren: Jordon Boutte, Justin Boutte, Jacob Cartwright, Colton Frank Cartwright, sister Starlene Boutte, and partner of ten years Gladis Bradshaw.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Stasha Sanchez.
