Doroteo is survived by his wife of over 59 years, Birjinia Ramirez, and 8 children. Daughters; Dora, Amelia, Diana, Sylvia sons; Joe, Ruben, Steven and Robert. He had one brother named Manuel Ramirez, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Doroteo is preceded in death by his daughter Sylvia Lara and brother Manuel Ramirez.
