Efrain Ordonez-Cardona falleció en paz el 24 de junio del 2022 a la edad de 53 años. Nació en Jutiapa, Guatemala el 18 de junio del 1969 gracias a sus padres Manuel Ordonez-Lopez y Albertina Cardona.
Efrain creció en Guatemala junto a sus tres hermanos y dos hermanas. A la edad de 16 años se unió al ejército y hizo su servicio militar como un Kaibil en la Guerra Civil de Guatemala y salió vencedor. Inmigró a los Estados Unidos en marzo del 1994 a sus 25 años de edad.
Era un hombre muy generoso, trabajador y humilde. Sus pasatiempos favoritos eran jugar cartas, billar, dominós, pescar y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos. Le gustaba la música ranchera y mirar su película favorita Sangre por Sangre mientras comía sus calditos con su familia.
Es sobrevivido por sus hijos, Anderson, Imer, y Edgar Ordonez, su hija, Laila Zepeda, sus nueras Jennifer Moreno y Stephanie Mendoza y sus nietas Stephanie y Selena Ordonez. También por sus hermanos y hermanas.
Le precedieron en muerte sus padres Manuel Ordonez-Lopez y Albertina Cardona y su hermano Leonel Ordonez.
Efrain Ordonez-Cardona passed away peacefully on June 24, 2022 at the age of 53. He was born in Jutiapa, Guatemala on June 18, 1969 thanks to his parents Manuel Ordonez-Lopez and Albertina Cardona.
Efrain grew up in Guatemala with his three brothers and two sisters. At the age of 16, he joined the army and did his military service as a Kaibil in the Guatemalan Civil War and emerged victorious. He immigrated to the United States in March 1994 at the age of 25.
He was a very generous, hard-working and humble man. His favorite hobbies were playing cards, pool, dominoes, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He liked ranchera music and watching his favorite movie Blood In Blood Out while he ate his favorite stews with his family.
He is survived by his sons, Anderson, Imer, and Edgar Ordonez, his daughter, Laila Zepeda, his daughters-in-law Jennifer Moreno and Stephanie Mendoza, and his granddaughters Stephanie and Selena Ordonez. Also, by his brothers and sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents Manuel Ordonez-Lopez and Albertina Cardona and his brother Leonel Ordonez.
