Obituary for Fidel DeLeon
Fidel DeLeon, age 72, of Forreston passed away February 23, 2021 at Methodist of Midlothian. He was born June 27, 1948 in Wheelock, TX to Hilario DeLeon and Dominga Rueda. He Married Margarita DeLeon in Bryan, TX on July 7, 1970. Fidel worked at Owens Corning for 35 years. He enjoyed playing softball and watching the Dallas Cowboys as well as the Texas Rangers. Along with this he loved spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids. He will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Margarita DeLeon of Forreston, Children Gloria DeLeon of Forreston, Rosanna Martin and husband Will of Waxahachie, Maria Allen and husband Brandon of San Antonio, 5 Grandkids and 5 Great Grandkids, 2 brothers Herman DeLeon and Charlie DeLeon and wife Clem, and sister Pat Puente.
Fidel is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and a grandson.
