Obituary for Wayne Kimbro

Forrest Wayne Kimbro passed away from this life on October 29, 2020. He was born on November 4, 1947 in Cox City, OK to Frank and Flora Mae Kimbro. Wayne was the youngest of 13 siblings (all first names started with the letter F). He graduated high school at Rush Springs, OK and worked as a truck driver until he became medically disabled. He was a strong man and a two-time cancer survivor of lung and colon cancer. He loved spending time with his grandkids and had a special bond of watching the Lion King with his grandson, Christian. Wayne was a huge OU football and Texas Rangers fan. He loved to fish, watch westerns like Bonanza and Walker Texas Ranger and Monday Night Wrestling. Silence of the Lambs was his favorite movie because he was in love with Jodi Foster. Wayne lived a full and wonderful life, and he will be missed dearly.

Wayne leaves behind his daughters, Heather Polasek (husband Chris), Elisa Moore (husband Jason); grandchildren, Christian Moore (wife Maddie), Ashleigh Lee (husband Dylan), and Emma Daniel; great-grandchild, Lily Moore; 3 siblings, Flonnie Shannon, Ferman Kimbro, and Florene Wilkerson, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Arnell Kimbro; daughter, Holly Cason, nine siblings, nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

A Funeral Service will follow at 10AM, Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
