On February 28, 2021, our beloved son Gregory Michael Formella, 39, of Grand Prairie, Texas went home to his Heavenly Father. He died by his own choice.

Gregory worked for the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons at the Field Acquisition Office located in Grand Prairie, Texas, for the past 16 years. He attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Thomas Edison State University, Thomas Walker High School and is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his parents Richard and Jena Rae Formella, of Waxahachie Texas, who are eternally grateful to our Lord for the time and joys they were given with him. Gregory was loved and admired by many. Jena Rae & Richard loved him dearly from the moment he came into their lives and they will love him and hold him close in their hearts, minds, and prayers forever. Jena Rae & Richard know Gregory loved them both very much, but more importantly they know he loved God and our Lord Jesus Christ. They pray that God keeps Gregory in his peace, love, and grace until they can rejoin with their son and God’s son in our heavenly Father’s kingdom and all live in his eternal peace and love for ever and ever.

Gregory will be laid to rest at The Byodo-In Temple, Valley of the Temples Memorial Park, KaHaluu, O’ahu, Hawaii, during a private ceremony.
