Obituary for Hector Fernando Robles
Hector Fernando “Piluyo” Robles, age 78, of Waxahachie, passed away on January 13, 2023. He was born on May 31, 1944 in El Porvenir, Lopez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to parents Jose and Felipa Robles. Hector grew up in Jimenez, Chihuahua where he grew up to be a very loving, hardworking, but stubborn Christian man. His favorite past time was relaxing outside at the foot of a good shade tree and enjoying a slice of sweet watermelon to beat the heat. His favorite groups to listen to were Tigres del Norte and Vincente Fernandez.
His first grandchild, who was supposed to be born on May 15, waited to make an entrance on his birthday, May 31, in 1989. The two were inseparable and even went to Mexico together. Hector always dressed nicely and always made sure his hair looked right. He made friends anywhere he would go. Hector married his sweet bride Maria the day after Valentine’s Day in 1969.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Maria Marta, children Hector F. Robles Jr. and wife Rosy, Maria Robles, Ana Robles and husband Ramon Martinez, and Jose Robles and wife Frances, 12 grandchildren Vanessa Reyes and husband Ruben, Jessica Robles, Ramon Martinez, Jr. and wife Alyssa, Samantha Ferguson, Jeremy Ferguson, Hector F. Robles III, Christian Robles, Jewel Robles, Christine Escamilla, Emily Robles, Ariana Robles, and Caley Robles, 16 great-grandchildren, brother Jose Robles, sisters Raquel Robles, Amalia Robles, and Lila Robles, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Hector was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Felipa Robles, and brother Manuel Robles.
The Visitation and Funeral Service are scheduled for Thursday, January 19, 2023 starting at 10 A.M. at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
