Jimmy Earl Posey, age 64, of Italy, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, TX. He was born April 9, 1948 to Harry and Eva Lena (Hignight) Posey in Dallas, TX. Jimmy worked in construction and he loved to fish. He was a loving father and grandfather. Jimmy is survived by his companion, Shirley Posey of Avalon; three daughters, Tanya Carter of Crum, Jeannie Morris and her husband Galen of Italy and Lisa Annette Gruben and her husband Jeff of Frost; three sons, Curtis (Buddy) Posey of Milford, Bobby Joe Posey and his wife Maria of Waxahachie and Thomas Earl Posey of Avalon; fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren; a brother, Billy Posey of Alvarado; three sisters, Barbara Posey of Alvarado, Imogene Posey of Detroit, TX, Norma Baird of Bagota and Sassy the dog. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 20, 2012 at 2:00 P.M in the Chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie. www.bozemitchellmckibbin.com.
