Joel Mack Hugghins passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Joel Mack was born on July 25, 1976, in Corsicana, Texas, to Bobby Mack and Vivian Clem Hugghins. He grew up in Italy, Texas, surrounded by his West End buddies and attended Stafford Elementary School. In 1994, he graduated from Italy High School, where he formed lifelong friendships, played all sports, and participated in Ag, debate, one act play, and Student Council. Joel Mack continued his education and graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in Speech Communications. He then moved to the Dallas area and was employed in management, sales, and dispatch at several waste management companies.

Joel Mack was preceded in death by his dad, Bobby Mack Hugghins; uncle, Bobby Clem; grandparents, T.V. and Verna Clem and Jessie Hugghins and Bobbie Jean Davis.

Joel Mack is especially blessed to be survived by the loves of his life: his daughters Judith Beaux and Piper Leigh Hugghins. Survivors also include a large, loving family including his mother Vivian Clem Hugghins, uncle Larry Clem, siblings Andrea and husband Joe Windham, Alison and husband Ronnie Janek, Jordan and wife Kia Hugghins, thirteen precious nieces and nephews, and much loved Clem, Hugghins, and Owen cousins, aunts and uncles, and prayer partners too numerous to mention.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 11:00 am, at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Italy, Texas. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the same location. Interment will follow at Italy Cemetery.
