Obituary for Judy Perez

Judy Ann Perez, age 59, peacefully passed away, surrounded by her daughters, on March 30, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. While her physical body was tired, her spirit and vibrant light was always ever present. She was born August 15, 1961 in Corpus Christi, and was the daughter of Manuel and Teresa G. Resio.

Judy was a loving, caring, energetic mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was always checking in on those that she loved and bestowing prayers and blessings to all who met her. She had a welcoming and mothering spirit to many, which is greatly reflected in how many lives she touched and impacted as a surrogate mother and aunt. Judy was someone who always put others ahead of herself and would do just about anything and everything for others. Judy didn’t just have friends, she had family, which is a quality passed on through her daughters. Her life was filled with many trials, but she faced each storm head on with boldness, courage and a bravery unlike any other.

She was a previous member of The Oaks Fellowship, where she was involved with the choir and regularly volunteered through the youth group, while her daughters were in attendance. Judy worked at Quality Aspirators for the last 15 years, where she gained a great and loving second family, who cherished and supported her throughout her tenure.

She is survived by her three daughters and granddogs, Brandie (Teddy), Elizabeth (Broccoli), and Gabrielle (Biscuit), and her two sisters Mary Lou and Francisco Villa, and Debbie Castro and Jesse, and their daughters Madeline and Briana and Levi Christian as well as Ann Castro

Judy is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
