Obituary for Kandis Renee Heine
Kandis Renee Heine, age 61, passed away Wednesday the 25th of November at the Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
Kandy was born on the 21st of March 1959 in Nashville, Tennessee to Richard and Grunell Gookin. With her father in the military she spent time living at various cities around the country and to finally settle in Waxahachie, Texas in 1969 until her passing.
Kandy was schooled in Waxahachie and graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1977. She worked several years in Dallas and on February 2nd, 1980 married Thomas Horace Heine, Jr. That union produced two children, Natalin Jill Heine and Richard Travis Heine.
Kandy was a loving caring giving person who loved the Lord and His Church. She taught the Cradle Roll for many years and was loved by all.
Kandy was blessed with 5 beautiful grandchildren. The love they shared was a beautiful thing to see. They all loved being together and went on Disney and skiing trips. Their love for one another grew stronger and stronger.
Kandy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Horace Heine Jr.; her parents Richard and Grunell Gookin; her daughter Natalin Buegeler (husband Brady), son Travis Heine; five grandchildren: Braden, Hudson and Holden Buegeler, Ellis and Nora Heine.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and a very special daughter. We all loved her and will miss her so very much.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brown St. Church of Christ general fund.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00-11:00 Am, Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Brown Street Church of Christ in Waxahachie, Texas.
Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home, 511 West Main Street, Waxahachie, Texas.
