Obituary for Kristin Sheppard Maynard
Kristin Gaye Sheppard-Maynard was born on December 3, 1969 and passed on January 2, 2021 at the Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Waxahachie.
Kristin, was a devoted Christian, she was born and raised in Waxahachie and was a “Cherokee Charmer”. Kristin graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1988.
A mother of three and “grandma”, she loved to read and plant beautiful flowers. She definitely had a green thumb! Loved classic rock, Stevie Nicks, Pink Floyd and her dog, “Manny”. She was not afraid to tell you what she thought; had an amazing personality, could talk to anyone and a true people person.
Kristin is survived by her children, Zachary Sauceda, Jozette Sauceda and Veronica Hernandez; grandchildren, Jazelle Riojas, Rick Riojas, Zachary Sauceda II; mother, Deborah Allen and husband Gary; father, Steve Sheppard and wife Alea; brother, Michael Wooley; nephews, Paxton Wooley and Axel Watkins; cousin, Jill Sigler; step-sister, Mandy Hocutt and numerous family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Michael Maynard.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday, January 7, 2021 in the Chapel at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX.
