Linda Nell Hill, age 74, passed on Saturday, July 18, 2020 after a brave battle with Parkinson’s disease. She was born on December 28, 1945 in Dallas Texas. She was the middle child of Edward Leon Warren, and Lilly Belle Bridges. She took much pride in being a Texan, wife, mother, and a career woman.

Lyn as she was known by, graduated from Thomas Jefferson High school in Dallas. She then matriculated to Texas Tech University where she met Jake Berry Thaxton. They married and had two sons. Jeffrey Bryan Thaxton, and Michael Louis Thaxton. She remained married to Jake until his sudden death in a plane crash in 1987.

She later married. Roger Lyn Hill with whom she would happily spend the rest of her life with. Roger selflessly cared for her until the end of her days. Thank you, Roger.

Lyn is preceded in death by her parents, Edward Leon Warren, and Lilly Belle Bridges; older sister, Charlie Koonsman, and younger brother, Eddie Warren.

Lyn is survived by her beloved husband, Roger Hill; two sons, Jeff and Michael Thaxton, and grandchildren, Jessica Thaxton and Jax Thaxton.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Restland Cemetery.
