Linda L. Owens, age 71, of Red Oak, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at her home. She was born September 23, 1948 in Grand Prairie, TX to Robert Leon and Eva Pauline (Black) Deeds. A “tom boy” by nature, Linda loved horses, working on the farm, mowing and gardening. She was a dedicated Momma who worried about her sons. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Bobby Owens; sons, Thomas Walton and Tony Walton and wife Joy; grandchildren, Melissa, Peyton, Alyssa and Hannah; four great grandchildren and two sisters, Mary and Judy. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Leon and Eva Pauline Deeds.

Funeral services for Linda will be held at 4pm Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Hamm officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5pm to 7pm following the services.

Interment will be 10:15am Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
