Obituary for Lisa Pearce (Cormier)
On Monday, February 24, 2021, Lisa Pearce, loving mother of four children, passed away at age 60. She battled a very rare lung disease and fought until her last breath.
Lisa was born on March 20th, 1960 in Kountze, TX to Gene and Gloria Cormier. She had three sons, Wes, Alex, and Daniel, and one daughter, Amanda.
Lisa had her ups and downs, but the last years of her life were probably among the best years of her life. She made amends with her parents and got to live with her daughter Amanda and granddaughter, Rihana, who loved to spoil her Meme.
Lisa never met a stranger and even people who only met her once felt a lifetime connection with her. She loved to talk your ear off and enjoyed the simple things in life, drinking Dr. Pepper, and eating Double Stuffed Oreos.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Gene, her mother, Gloria, and her granddaughter Hadassah. She is survived by her four children, Wes, Alex, Amanda, and Daniel, her brother Ronnie, sisters Shelly and Gina, her boo Laci, Grandchildren Rihana, Caleb, Mason, Jack, Molly, Elisha, Jonathan, Quinn and Nova, several cousins, nephews, nieces extended family, friends and her dog Misty.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home 511 West Main Street, Waxahachie at 6 o’clock p.m. Plants, baskets or donations may be sent to the funeral home for the family. Please make sure they are small enough that the family can take them with them after the service.
