Manuel DeLeon, age 68, of Waxahachie, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Baylor Scott & White, Waxahachie. He was born August 25, 1952 in Bryan, Texas to Hilario DeLeon and Dominga Rueda. He married Justa Garcia in Waxahachie on May 27, 1972. Manuel worked at Owens Corning for 37 years. He was very proud of his college football days. He was a great horseshoe player and enjoyed softball. Manuel loved spending time with his grandchildren, they were his world. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Maria Justa Garcia of Waxahachie; children, Greg DeLeon and wife Marisol of Dallas, Secilia Martinez and husband Juan, Jr. of Waxahachie, Manuel Ray DeLeon and significant other Natalie Williams of Waxahachie, Roger DeLeon of Dallas, and Chris DeLeon and wife Amanda of Waxahachie; grandchildren, Marisa, John, Adriana, Jacob, Jordan, James, JoDee, Ally, Zach, and Juan III; 7 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Herman DeLeon, Fidel DeLeon and wife Margaret and Charlie DeLeon and wife Clem and one sister, Pat Puente. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Joe DeLeon and Camilo DeLeon.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6 – 8PM Friday, December 4, 2020 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3PM Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with David Lopez officiating.
