Obituary for Mary Lou West McFadin

Mary Lou West McFadin went home to Jesus on May 8, 2021 surrounded by her family. Mary Lou was born to Burl and Freda West on November 14, 1946 in Bottinu, North Dakota. The West family moved to Texas when she was a child.

Mary Lou attended school and graduated from Waxahachie High in 1964. She furthered her education at Baylor University in Waco. Mary Lou moved to Italy in 1979 to raise her two daughters; little did she know the small community would become her extended family and her loving heart would affect so many people.

Many were often mesmerized by her flawless beauty, illuminating smile, and her confident stature. She enjoyed a good game of pool and could often clear a table. She loved to dance and could dance circles around you with or without music! Her love for the two were only rivaled by her love for her family. Other than the birth of her two daughters, her greatest blessing was becoming a grandma; that she loved like no other.

She was preceded in death by her parents Burl and Freda, brothers Freddy and Randy, and grandson Bryson.

She is survived by her daughters Lori and her husband Ian Case of Denton, TX and Brandi and her husband Scott Freeman of Italy TX, grandsons Tyler,
Zachary and Bentley. And many other family and friends.

Mary Lou lived a full and warm life filled with joy, happiness, kindness and love. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the American
Diabetes Association.
