Matthew Jason Stuart was born June 30, 1985 in Dallas, Texas to Janice and Rusty Stuart. He attended Waxahachie High school, graduating in 2003, and was a Navarro Community College graduate earning his Registered Nurse degree in 2021. Later, he became the Nurse Manager at the local jail. He was also an ordained minister. On April 23, 2016 Matt married Michelle Crossland. He is remembered as a loving person, always ready to lend a hand and as the life of the party, he was always down for a beer with friends. Most of all, he was a loving father.

He enjoyed spending time swimming in the pool with friends and going for midnight drives- listening to music until all in the car was lost. He was a movie connoisseur who often recited movie quotes and especially loved the band Blink-182. He enjoyed trivia nights, where he earned his name, Trivia Matt.

Matt loved his kids. He could often be found playing paintball with his boys and watching music videos with Zoie. There were many Nerf Wars between all the kids.

Matt is preceded in death by his father Rusty Stuart; and his grandparents Margarette Boren, Joseph Boren, Jr, Greta Stuart, and Robert E Stuart.

He is survived by his wife Michelle Stuart; two children Cameron and Zoie; brother Daniel; sister in law Roxanne; and his mother Janice.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Wednesday March 9, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Boze Mitchell McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie, Texas.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10, 2021 at 4:00 pm, at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
