Obituary for Michael Cook

Michael Rudolph Cook, age 73, of Dallas, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born August 13, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida to Robert and Ann (Jordan) Cook. Mike served in the U. S. Navy overseas for 3 ½ years. He was a master plumber and retired after thirty years. He loved to fish and spent most of his time at his lake house after retiring. Mike will be remembered for his love for his family and friends.

Mike is survived by spouse, Charlotte; one daughter, Angela Cheema and husband Bali of Dallas; one son, Shane Varner and significant other Melissa of Ft. Worth; four grandchildren, Michael Swan, Ethan Swan, Brenna Varner and Brayden Varner; four sisters, Elizabeth and husband Donald McAleer of Arlington, Joanne and husband Gary Gentry of Waxahachie, Maria Trost of Colorado and Vicki and husband Jeff Grantham of Greenville; brothers, Thomas Kirby of Florida, Richard Bovee of West Virginia, Shelley Bovee of New York and Richey Castagnolia of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3PM Saturday, November 21, 2020 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Interment will be held 9:30 AM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors.
