Obituary for Michael Burt Johnson
Michael Burt Johnson was born October 27, 1969 to Florene and Harold Johnson in Mansfield, Texas. He entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on March 13, 2023. Known to those who loved him most as Meatloaf, Michael grew up in Cedar Hill, Texas. As a child he enjoyed riding bikes and fixing them up. This early aptitude fostered his lifelong career as a mechanic.
A big teddy bear of a man, Michael was known for his heart for others. He was loving, caring and always willing to lend a helping hand. Michael loved to hunt and fish; he found joy in being on the Brazos River and Lake Whitney.
He is preceded in death by his parents Florene and Harold Johnson; sister Shirley Hillin; brothers Ricky Johnson and Ira Johnson.
Michael is survived by his brothers Mark Johnson of Cedar Hill, Tx and Timothy Johnson of Mesquite, Tx; and sister Linda Johnson of Mesquite, Tx.
Services for Michael will be held Friday, March 17, 2023 at 4:00pm at the Boze Mitchel McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie, Texas.
