Obituary for Miguel Pena Martinez
On Saturday, February 15, 2020, Miguel “Mike” Martinez of Red Oak, TX passed away at the age of 63.
Miguel was born on July 20, 1956, to Miguel and Olalla Martinez in Silver City, NM. Though born in New Mexico, Miguel grew up in El Paso, TX.
On April 4, 1981 Miguel married the love of his life Ruby and they raised two daughters Yvette and Sonya. Miguel spent many years working at various pawnshops in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. After retirement Miguel enjoyed watching his favorite shows on his TV and going to the casino with Ruby.
Miguel’s pride and joy were his two grandkids Scarlett and Atticus with whom he loved spending every available minute. Miguel was preceded in death by his father, Miguel and mother, Olalla.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ruby, daughters Yvette (Bradley) Bayer and Sonya (Patrick) Canada and his two grandchildren, a sister and two brothers, and hosts of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.
