Obituary for Molly Elizabeth Harris

Molly Elizabeth Harris was born September 12, 2007 in Ennis, Texas to Julie and Billy Harris. She departed on August 26, 2022. Molly was deeply loved by her family. She had her Daddy wrapped around her finger so tight that he was known as the “Let-Her Dad” by her cousins and friends. She was her mother's mini-me in every way, from height to stubbornness to quick wit. While Molly may not have been excited when someone said they looked just alike, her mother took it as a huge compliment. Big brother Jack was always in her corner and demanded to know the last name, school and grade of any boy she mentioned in conversation. They had grown closer as they matured past the sibling bickering stage. She was known to her family and friends as Molly Bugg.

Molly was incredibly funny and would do anything for a laugh; no one was immune to her aggravating and uncles were always an easy target. She was skilled at making faces and could often be seen with her signature one eyebrow raised. She loved to perform in local theater productions as well around the house. She frequently went into “monologue Molly” mode to give the family a laugh.

She was a very beautiful girl, that lit up a room. A “fashionista” from a very early age, she loved shopping. Molly could put together cute outfits from thrift stores that garnered more compliments than new fashions. Super creative and artistically talented, Molly had a poem published in the 4th grade and drew amazing portraits with pencil. She always had a kind word, especially for those that might be on the side lines of life.

Molly is survived by her parents Billy and Julie Harris; brother Jack Harris; grandparents Donnie and Cathy Harris of Grandview, TX, Ken and Vicki Cheatham of Milford, TX; aunts and uncles Will Cheatham of Waco, TX, Shannon and James Dailey of Grandview, Tx, Samantha and Keith Campbell of Bynum, TX, Felicia and JB Boughton of Cleburne, TX, Lee Blameuser of Cresson, TX, Rachel and Shawn Bays of Cleburne, TX, Michael and Christina Miller of Covington, TX; cousins Tommy Lee Milligan, Dylan Dailey, Keeley and Kinley Campbell, Hannah and Lauren Cheatham, Brooklyn and Emma Cheatham, Williams, JJ, Leslie and Jeb Boughton, Micah and Morgan Miller, and her beloved pets – dogs Maximus and Daisy and Guinea Pig – Gort.
