Obituary for Trudy Brockman
Neva Gertrude "Trudy" Brockman passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Country Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation in Corsicana, Texas. She was 84.
Trudy was born October 20, 1936 to Jessie May (Runions) and James Graham Sadler in Farner, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Brockman.
Trudy worked as an insurance claims specialist for many years and loved to read and travel. She and her husband Bill once traveled to Canada. Since Bill was an avid gardener, Trudy learned to love canning and storing up fresh fruits and vegetables from his garden. She and Bill retired and moved from Odessa to Brady, Texas where she worked part-time after retirement to help start an insurance business.
She and Bill enjoyed numerous years of traveling throughout the United States before his death in 2020.
Surviving Trudy are sister Geraldine Howard, nieces Lori Prince and Teresa Hawkins, step-daughter Jacque Martin, granddaughters Valery Martin and family, Macaley Davee and family and Samantha Brockman.
