Obituary for Rachel V. Contreras-Morales
Rachel Morales, at the age of 83, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on April 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. She was born to Jesus and Beatrice Villarreal in Rice, TX on February 17, 1938.
Rachel could be found in the garden, planting fresh flowers and enjoying the outdoors. Her love for music and dancing always made her the life of the party. She was a faithful God-loving individual who was devoted to supporting those in need. Her kind heart will be forever remembered and missed by all.
Rachel is survived by her loving children, Becky Reyes, Sally Martinez, Ester Brazeal, Carlos Sanchez Sr. and wife Bricia Sanchez; grandchildren, Veronica, Berto, Frankie, Carlos, Lorena, Saul Jr., Amanda, Armando, Ted, Carlos Jr., Nefry, Sally, Abel; 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ray Morales Sr., son Robert V. Contreras, daughter Gloria Jean Rodriguez, and several brother and sisters.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a Service starting at 7 P.M. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin chapel in Waxahachie.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for Sunday, May 2, 2021 at 2 P.M. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
