Richard H. Dellert, 86, of Duncanville, TX passed away on May 20, 2020 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas. He was born March 19, 1934 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Harold Dellert and Marguerite (Brown) Dellert. He was the most kind-hearted, welcoming person and his optimistic view and positive attitude on life was with him his entire life. His dedication to his wife and family goes beyond what words could describe.

Richard (Dick) is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marge (Margaret Mary Morris) Dellert; one brother, John Dellert and wife Sharon; daughter Susan Dellert; daughter Cindy Dellert Gibbs and husband Mark; son Christopher Dellert and wife Lauren McAdams-Dellert; grandchildren Zoe Gibbs, Kylie Gibbs, Andrew Rager and Brittany Stone; great-grandchildren Taylor Stone, Skylar Stone, and Cayden Michael Shell; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of special friends and neighbors.

Dick was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marguerite Dellert and sister Diana Sanders. It was Dick’s wish that there be no public service. The family will honor his wishes and a private memorial service will be held in the near future.
