Robert Herman Beck, age 85, of Waxahachie, passed away on October 23, 2022. He was born on February 3, 1937 to parents Dollie Mae and Thomas Beck and was one of seven children. He loved to be around family and as a young man enjoyed riding his horse, Tony. Robert was very loving and loved fishing, gardening, watching the Texas Longhorns, being home with family, and old western TV shows. He was married to the love of his life, Jeanette, for 67 years. He was 18 and she was 16 when they married. They had three children, Kathy who married Steve Brown, Robert Beck who married Nanette, and Cindy who married Brad Fast. These two, who were young kids when they married, created quite the legacy. Their kids and grandkids are doctors, nurses, teachers, pharmacists, dentists, adjusters, accountants, marketing reps, and the list goes on!

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Jeanette Beck, children Steve and Kathy Brown, Robert and Nanette Beck, and Brad and Cindy Fast, grandchildren David and Stephanie Layton, Matt and Chrissy Brown, Michael and Alexis Brown, Joe and Megan Beck, Zach and Shay Beck, Joshua Beck, Austin Beck, Megan Jordan, and Molly Wright, great-grandchildren Maggie, Beckett, Amelia, Odette, Campbell, Madden, Sloane, Grace, Emily, June, Kason, Kallen, Lily, McKenna, Jenson, Olivia, Sydnie, Reese, and Brayden, as well as sister LaVonia McDonald.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, TJ Beck and Dollie Mae Beck, brothers Jerry Beck and Kenneth Beck, and sisters Phyllis Cote, Betty Walton, and Leta Burnett.

A Graveside Service is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th, 2022 at 1 P.M. at Sardis Cemetery.
