Obituary for Robert "Bob" Harding
Robert Edwin Harding died at home on Monday, January 16, 2023. Born in Detroit, Michigan on April 2, 1942 to Edwin and Corinne Harding, Bob was raised in Battle Creek, Michigan and educated at Michigan State University where he received his engineering degree. Following MSU, he served in the US Army and then spent his career in engineering.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Shawnee Griffith Harding, daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Harding of Waxahachie, son Edwin Griffith Harding and wife Michelle and grandson Robert William Harding of San Antonio, and son Shawn Benson Anderson and wife Ingrid and grandsons Christopher Benson and Matthew Alexander, also of San Antonio.
Services will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home of Waxahachie with visitation an hour prior. Interment will follow at the Mt. Peak Cemetery where Bob will be the 12th family member to be buried.
