Mrs. Rose Ella Love Deere, 95, passed away in peace May 24, 2020 in Waxahachie, Texas.
Mrs. Deere was born July 15, 1924 in Beeville, Texas to Albert G. Love and Florence Louvyna Melvin Love. She graduated from A.C. Jones High School. During her senior year, she completed a secretarial training course and worked for the Superintendent of Schools. She then worked for Union Producing Oil Co. until she married Edward Randall Deere on December 7, 1944. After the war, Ed and she moved to Kilgore and purchased Hanson Tank Co., where she served as office manager until they sold the company and retired in 1975.
She became an ardent student of the Bible at an early age, and soon after learning some of the requirements of being a Christian and follower of Jehovah God and of his Son, Jesus Christ, she dedicated her life to Jehovah, was baptized and has served as a faithful Jehovah’s Witness until her death.
Ed and she lived a full life of prayer, travel, family and friends until his death in 2013. She continued to charm all those around her, living each day with the grace born of a deep belief in Jehovah and his plans. She survived the death of her parents; her two brothers, Gerald Lightsey Love and Albert Franklin Love; her sister, Thelma Lucille Love; and her son, Walter Branch Deere. She spent her life surrounded by her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren and friends, who will miss her generosity of spirit and humor every day.
She is survived by her son, Randall Earle Deere; her grandchildren, Tracy Alana Deere Steele, Brandon Shiloh Deere, Cory Alan Deere and Arien Blake Deere Thornbrue; and a gaggle of great grandchildren.
