Sara Perez was born July 12, 1946 to Santos Mejia and Miguel Reyes in Mexico. She departed on October 4, 2022. She was happily married to her husband, Juan Pablo Perez and the couple enjoyed one daughter, Maria.

Sara was known for being a loving lady. She worked hard and never quit. Always ready to help others, Sara had a heart of gold. She enjoyed being outside with her flowers and could often be found watering her grass – with her husband by her side. When not enjoying outdoors, she could be found in the living room, watching her Mexican soap operas or in the kitchen displaying her cooking talents.

Most of all she enjoyed being a grandmother. Sara had three grandchildren, Yesenia Sam, Tad Sam and Nick Sam. She also had three great grandchildren, Noah Hayes, Brittany Hayes, and Gina Hayes.

She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Maria Sam.

She is survived by her loving husband Juan Pablo Perez; grandchildren Yesenia Sam, Tad Sam and Nick Sam; great grandchildren Noah Hayes, Brittany Hayes, and Gino Hayes; and many friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday October 7, 2022 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home Chapel in Waxahachie.

Funeral services will be Saturday October 8, 2022 at 3:00pm, also at Boze Mitchell McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie.
