Obituary for Savannah Marie Rodriguez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Savannah.

Savannah went home to be with the Lord on March 27th 2023 at 12:59 PM surrounded by her loved ones.

Savannah Marie Rodriguez was born on December 28th 1996 in Llano TX and then moved to Waxahachie TX with family at the age of 3.

Savannah had many nicknames but was known as Nana, Gorda, or Marie by her close loved ones. She was the Kim K of the family. Not only was she beautiful on the outside it was no match to the beauty that radiated from the inside. Savannah was a gentle soul and had one of the biggest hearts. If you knew Savannah you knew she was caring, loving, and goofy as heck. She had a laugh that was contagious, and her smile could light up any room. Savannah had a passion for makeup, fashion, baking, and letting her creative mind shine through numerous projects.

On December 23rd, 2022, our lives changed forever. With only a 10 percent chance of survival, Savannah fought fiercely and courageously for 94 days. God moved mountains for Savannah. We would like to thank the Doctors and nurses at Baylor Scott and White All Saints in Ft Worth TX for the endless love and care that Savannah was given. Most of all we would like to thank each and every one of you for all the prayers and love Savannah received.

Proceeded in death by, grandparents Gilbert and Gloria Gonzales, grandparents Joe and Sara Rodriguez and Uncle Johnny Gonzales.

Survived by mother, Dalia Vargas; step father, Leo Vargas; father, Ricky Rodriguez; sister, Veronica Washington and husband Craig Washington; brother, Jesse Flores and wife Kaysie Flores; sister, Vanessa Marshall and husband Kendrevious Marshall; nieces and nephews, Abree, Ethezman, Rylan, Sa’Riyah, Payshance, Layla Jolene and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
