Tim Berneking was born in St. Louis, Missouri on the 15th of March in 1956 to his loving parents, Joe and Patricia Berneking. He departed from this world, and into the loving embrace of the Lord Jesus Christ, on the 10th of December 2020. Tim was known by all those around him as a loving and devoted husband; a caring, kind, and intentional father; as well as a reliable and trustworthy friend. Above all, Tim was known as a true man of God that did all he could to follow the Lord's greatest commandment of loving Him and loving the people around him.
Tim is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sandra Berneking, and his sons, Nathan and Justin Berneking. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Alana Berneking, and grandson, Bryson Berneking.
Besides the incredible legacy he left in the lives of his wife and sons, his legacy is known by all in the way that he loved people and made them laugh. Tim had an infectious sense of humor. He truly had a gift for making people feel special and loved.
Tim loved his country. A strong believer in the Constitution, Tim truly desired freedom for all men, and frequently shared his strong convictions about “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” with others.
Tim was a man of many hobbies. He enjoyed doing many things but had a true passion and love for music and cars. Tim played the guitar, piano, trumpet, harmonica, and volunteered as the drummer for Eastridge Baptist Church’s worship team. He had an affinity for American muscle cars shown by his collection of classic Hot Wheels, muscle car magazines, and taking his sons to auto auctions and car shows.
