Vera Jenkins, age 93, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, in Arlington. She was born December 16, 1926, to William and Bertha Mae (Morgan) Woodall. She was born in Venus, Texas, where she grew up. She had worked for the Rockwall schools in the cafeteria. Vera loved to sew, crochet, embroider, and work on jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed trips to Six Flags and spending time with her grandchildren. Vera had the gift of gab and was a people person who was kind to everyone. She loved to cook for her family. Vera will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her son, Greg Jenkins and wife Mae Lanette; daughter, Brenda Haas and husband Eugene Robinson; grandchildren, Tammy, Gregory, Paula, Natalie, Chad, Stacye, Gary and Jamye; twenty-four great-grandchildren four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Consulin and Ann Lee Crow and husband, Roy Lee and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 49 years Sam Jenkins, infant daughter, Martha, and brother, James Woodall.

Graveside service and interment will be 2PM Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Bethel Cemetery with Brother David officiating.
