Obituary for Virginia "Nana" Springer
Virginia “Nana” Springer was born March 5, 1940 in Dallas to Byron and Helen Virginia (Starnes) Steele. She departed this life June 11, 2021 at her home in Waxahachie. She married Joe Springer April 14, 1972 in Dallas. Virginia worked for Dallas County Courthouse for several years. She liked knitting and was also an avid bowler, and she loved her church, Ranch House Cowboy Church of Maypearl. She loved to shop. Virginia was a proud breast cancer survivor.
Left to cherish Virginia’s memory are her loving husband of 49 years, Joe Springer; daughter, Cindy Holt Springer; grandchildren, Dakota Dodd and Bailey Dodd; Tonia Parker granddaughter-in-law; brother, Bobby Steele and nephews, Tommy Dale and Russell Steele. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and son Jeff Holt.
A Memorial Service for Virginia will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 6:00 P.M. at the Ranchhouse Cowboy Church in Maypearl, Texas. There will be a meal provided.
