Obituary for Doris Mauldin (Knight)

Doris Mauldin, age 91, formerly of Italy, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008 at Lennwood Nursing and Rehab in Dallas. She was born November 20, 1916 in Italy to Leonard Marvin and Nora Lee (Smithwick) Knight. Doris retired from the cosmetics counter at the Skillern’s Drug Store in Highland Park.   Survivors include one son, Leonard Mauldin and his wife, Janice; three grandsons, Ken, Kevin and Mark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Mauldin in 1985; son, John Mauldin in 1995 and sister, Helen Wakefield.   Graveside service and interment will be 10AM Saturday, July 19, 2008 at the Italy Cemetery.   To view an online obituary or leave the family a personal tribute, please visit www.bozemitchellmckibbin.com.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
