Joseph Lynn Hanna, age 50, left this world on June 22, 2020. He was born on October 15, 1969 in Dallas, Texas to his parents, Wesley L. Hanna, Sr. and Linda (Hanna) Love. Joseph graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Wesleyan University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and a minor in Paralegal studies.

Joseph is survived by his mother and step-father, Linda and Gary Love; brother, Wesley L. Hanna, Jr. and wife Lisa; niece, Katie Pace and husband Brandon; nephew, Wesley L. Hanna, III; great nephew, Jaxon Pace and his beloved cat, Catlyn.

He is preceded in death by his father, Wesley L. Hanna, Sr.; grandparents, Joe and Edith Munden, Johnny and Rosalee Hanna, Ira and Lillie Love; and great nieces, Lily and Elena Pace.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to be made to a Kidney Foundation of your choice or the SPCA.

A Graveside Service is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 1 P.M. at Red Oak Cemetery.

I really enjoyed getting to know Joe as a co-worker. We shared many laughs and stories together. He will be missed.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. Joe was a great guy and I have great memories of working with the two of you. May you all find peace in the loving arms of our Blessed Mother even as Joe is welcomed into the presence of the Sacred Heart of our Lord.
